The latest Henley Passport Index reveals a significant shift in global travel freedom, with Asian countries like Singapore, Japan, and South Korea dominating the top spots for the world's most powerful passports.
Singapore retains its crown, offering visa-free access to 193 destinations, while the US passport has dropped to its lowest-ever ranking at 10th place, reflecting a decade-long decline. India has made its biggest leap, climbing to 77th place and now granting its citizens visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 59 countries. Meanwhile, European and Middle Eastern nations like Greece and the UAE also feature prominently in the top 10, while countries such as Pakistan and Afghanistan remain at the bottom.
The rankings highlight growing disparities in global mobility and the shifting influence of nations in international travel.
